DSLR IR Conversion

Infrared photography is unique in that it allows us to see light that is not normally visible to the human eye, giving us insight into a world of different colors and textures that we are not accustomed to.

We offer a true IR conversion for both DSLR and mirrorless cameras. The cost to convert a digital camera with an APS-C sensor is $285, and a full frame sensor is $325. This includes disassembling and cleaning the camera, then removing the factory low pass filter in order to replace it with the infrared filter or clean full spectrum filter. If you would like to use the camera in live view mode, we can place a full spectrum filter in the camera. We will also update the camera’s firmware if necessary.

Mirrorless IR Conversion

In the case of mirrorless cameras, a full spectrum filter is installed in place of the factory filter. You can then put any filter you’d like on the front.
